There were times I thought I would never get past this hell hole...
There were times I just felt like giving up and forgetting all about it...
Over five years of time, playing FFXI, my mood swept up and down, from one extreme to the other...
...
But today, Wednesday August 5th, a long (very long) targetted goal has finally been realized: Sea access... {Found It!}
After all these years, I finally figured it out... Getting through CoP isn't about beating the missions. After all, none of them, not even the though ones, are that impossible as they might sound or seem.
No... getting through CoP is all about finding a group of people willing to sacrifice part of their time to stick together, through good and bad, to work as a team and be dedicated and focussed to simply outsmart, outmanoeuver and overwhelm the challenges SE placed between their playerbase and mission success. It's all about finding a group of friends.
I was fortunate to find such a group.
And for that I am very grateful.
A very big thank you, therefor, to Antimo, Danyil and Thore for sticking it out with us for the last couple of... well months actually (has it really been that long?). For being there every time we needed them. For helping us (or at least me) realize what had almost become an obsession and certainly a source of frustration.
Thank you... once again. {/bow} {/praise} And, of course, thank you to all others who in some near or remote part of the past have contributed to achieving this goal.

Location: Cowville NY, USA | Yesssssss! I haven't honestly cared about sea since the second or third static broke up leaving me stranded. I was doing these missions because Dem kept saying come Hell or high water we would get sea eventually, and sure enough, yesterday we did. And then I was giddy! I loved it! Thank you to Thore, Antimo, and Danyil for helping me see it was worth the bother. I am even looking forward to the coming weeks' missions. /bow |

I have backed up Macros to server and restored them on the PC. Any DC in the future I will change machines! I will start Monday on the Xbox. You guys are the best! :D

Location: Belgium - Europe | I think the bitter fact can no longer be denied... Tanaii is quietly slipping away and bleeding out. Time to find a new home (how ever much I regret it) and say goodbye to my beloved social LS whose pearl I proudly carried for over 5 years.
I would like to thank all the wonderful members of Tanaii for the many years of fun and excitement I was allowed to enjoy in their presence and for their patience and endurance to put up with me  .
Especially Mistressshadow, for initially accepting me to join Tanaii, and to keep the social relations between linkshell members healthy.
Also special thanks to Oblivion for taking over the command of Tanaii when Missy decided to quit the game and for the marvelous work he has done in maintaining the linkshell's forum.
I would also like to humbly apologize for every time I was a pain in the behind and especially if I ever offended or hurt anybody (I can assure you it was unintentional).
